Choosing the next Real Veranda Weddings feature to share on our blog was an easy decision for me – I’ve been asked time and time again by our couples preparing their upcoming weddings: which wedding from last years’ season stands out to me; one that I catch myself still thinking about? There’s no doubt in my mind that Michael + Megan’s 2012 Michigan wedding celebration is one I keep referencing back to time and time again. Why you ask? I’m sure you’ll see after reading how exceptionally creative and one-of-a-kind their wedding day celebration was!
{ Friends + family gathered for a beautiful beach ceremony on Lake Michigan | Rocky Gap Beach }
{ One of my all-time favorite reception layouts! The layout was composed of all long, royal tables perfect for mingling!
It was SO creative and has now become a hot trend at The Veranda for 2013 and 2014 weddings! }
{ Personalized wine labels with Michigan mitten printable used as table numbers for guests }
{ The same adorable repeated Michigan mitten print used for escort cards }
{ Unique Michigan mitten cake topper with each of their initials }
Michael + Megan also had a Michigan-based drink menu at the bar to shift the spotlight to what’s made here locally! Perfect touch to a Michigan wedding celebration! They ended the evening with a sparkler send off and photo op! Kudos to Ben Pancoast Photography for capturing some of the most beautiful wedding day shots! See more of their wedding gallery here! A super fun bride and groom and their families with some of the coolest decor to match! Thanks for making your Made In Michigan Wedding a memorable one for our team Megan + Michael!
Happy planning everyone!
